The number of COVID-19 cases increased again to over 20,000, with 20,837 reported in the last 24 hours, said Health Director-General, Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

After breaching the 9,000 mark for three consecutive days, the number of new COVID-19 cases in the country dropped to 8,574 today, bringing the cumulative total to 844,870.

A slight drop from yesterday's tally of 7,654.

Malaysia recorded a total of 6,045 new COVID-19 cases today compared to 6,658 recorded yesterday, bringing the total number of cumulative cases to 778,652.

The number of new COVID-19 cases in the country has surpassed the 5,000 mark for four consecutive days, with 5,803 cases reported over the last 24 hours.

New daily COVID-19 cases in the country have remained below 5,000 for two consecutive days.

The number of new COVID-19 cases in the country continues to drop, with a total of 4,611 cases recorded today compared with 5,293 reported yesterday.

Malaysia recorded 5,911 new cases of COVID-19 within the last 24 hours, bringing the cumulative total of infections in the country to 691,115.

The number of new daily COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours decreased slightly to 7,452 cases compared to 7,748 cases yesterday, said Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, said out of the total, there were three cases of imports receiving infections from abroad.
